ACR Released the Latest FastBEM Acoustics® V.2.0.0 Software With Enhanced Performance and Functionality
September 1, 2009, Cincinnati, Ohio. Advanced CAE Research, LLC (ACR) released the latest version (V.2.0.0) of the software FastBEM Acoustics® with enhanced performance and functionality. This fast, accurate, efficient and cost-effective fast multipole boundary element (BEM) software is being used in many companies, research labs and universities for modeling acoustic problems at low, medium and high frequencies. The new version of the software provides the capability of modeling half-space acoustic wave problems for environmental and underwater acoustic applications, the option of evaluating the acoustic variables on new field surfaces without the need to rerun the BEM model, and an easy-to-use graphical-user interface. The accuracy and efficiency of the latest version of the fast multipole BEM solver have also been improved. ACR invites researchers and engineers to try this new version of the fast multipole BEM software in modeling their large-scale acoustic problems.
