Advanced CAE Research, LLC (ACR) is the developer of the FastBEM Acoustics® software, which was released in early 2008 and is the first software on the market for modeling large-scale acoustic wave problems based on the fast multipole BEM. ACR has licensed the original research code from the University of Cincinnati (UC) for further development and commercialization. This research code was developed by the group of Professor Yijun Liu, who has more than 25 years of experience in the research and development of the BEM. Significant improvements have been made to this research code regarding the applicability, accuracy and efficiency.

ACR strives to further the research and development of the fast multipole BEM by collaborating with researchers and CAE software developers, and promote the use of the BEM in industries by providing the most efficient, easy-to-use, flexible and affordable fast multipole BEM software for solving challenging large-scale engineering problems.
